DO NOT USE THIS METHOD IF YOU NEED TO PUT DRAWINGS INTO NEWFORMA & CREATE TRANSMITTALS.
They are for printing PDFs only.
To print and issue PDFs refer to PRACTICE > ISSUING DRAWINGS & MODELS > ISSUE DRAWINGS - NEWFORMA
You don't need to connect your Revit model to Newforma to just print PDFs. However you do need to have Publish Settings set up.
The instructions on how to connect Revit to a Newforma project contain information on how to setup Publish Settings.
Refer to GUIDELINES > PRINTING > SET UP NEWFORMA REVIT ADD-IN
Under Newforma tab, select Document Control icon, then Publish Sheets to PDF:
To print:
Tick the sheets you want to print.
Show the list of sheet Setups.
Select the appropriate Sheet Setup.
Hit Publish button.
NOTE:
a. Columns can be ordered by selecting headings.
b. Columns can be filtered by selecting the filter icon. (Sheet Sets is a good one to filter).
c. DON'T use Combine selected sheets into one PDF if you are doing a drawing issue. Only use it for check prints.
d. To change settings select the Publish settings... button. Note that any changes are permanently retained.
If the Store PDFs in: location is not within Newforma's standard folders a dialog will appear.
As check plots should be sent to your local drive C: (C:\_plots) just hit Yes.
