PDFcreator allows multiple printers to be set up with different profiles.
PDFcreator can be downloaded from: www.pdfforge.org/
The manual and help is also available at that web site.
When installing make sure PDFcreator Browser Add On, or any other crap ware is NOT installed by unticking where necessary.
Also check Installed programs and uninstall anything unwanted (sort by date to see what has been installed with PDFcreator).
Once installed run PDFcreator as Administrator.
Right click over PDFcreator (if there is no desktop icon you'll find it in All Programs under Windows Start) and select Run as administrator.
First go to to Printer > Options
While in the Default profile go to General Settings 2 tab under General settings.
Change Update interval to Never (this stops a dialog box appearing in the middle of printing).
Create a new profile by clicking the + button, Give the profile a name,.
Go to
Auto-save in left list.
Tick Use Autosave.
The Filename box needs to read <DocumentFilename> (you can select it from the Add a Filename-Token list)
Tick Use this directory for auto-save.
Browse to the folder you want to use.
Make sure After auto-saving open the document with the default program is unticked.
Hit Save button.
Back in the main program go to to Printer > Printers
Type a name into the New printer name edit box, then hit Add printer button.
Use a descriptive name anyone will understand. Note some characters can't be used (! : [ ] etc)
Change the profile for the new printer to be the name of the new profile you created above.
Hit Save button and close the main PDFcreator application.
There will now be 2 PDF printers available when you print.
NOTE: If you look in Window's Devices & Printers you only see one PDFcreator listed. To see other printers right click over PDFcreator and follow the black triangles.
