DISPLAY GLITCH IN 3D VIEWS

PROBLEM:

In 3D camera views railings display black wedges from joins.

CAUSE:

Bug in Revit 2015. May also occur later versions.

SOLUTION:

Change Default Join type of the Top Rail.

First find out what the Top Rail is called by selecting the railing and looking at its Type properties.

1. In the Project Browser under Families go to Top Rail Types.

2. Right click over the type that is causing the problem.

3. Change Default Join to Miter.
