The Secret Agent is about an English detective named Bernard Wadsworth, who was on the lookout for a bank robber in the big city of London. Bernard recently was in a car accident, and had lost all of his memory. His detective licence and ID, were the only way of him knowing his identity.
He found out where the British Intelligence headquarters was located and went there to put the pieces together. He arrived at the headquarters and was assigned a job. His assignment was to bring one of the most dangerous bank robbers in all of England to justice. This job had a strange feeling to it, as if Bernard was meant to do it himself. He thought that maybe this would help him remember some things about his past.
He did his best to find this robber. He used his detective instincts that still remained after the incident. Who is the robber and what is it that makes Bernard want to find him? The readers will have to find out for themselves.
