A Journey to a New World is a classic story of a young teenage girl named Mary in these hard times who has to take the place of her mother in order to keep her family together as one. She is sailing on the Plymouth, with most of the people from their small town, on the biggest and oldest vessel of it’s time. The days are tough and the nights are like ten nightmares rolled up into one night. In the end, she will have to make a choice, save her mother from sickness or keep her brothers safe.
Mary is having a normal day at sea, having to care for her sick mother and her younger brothers, who need constant attention, and will not stop until they get it. Mary knows that they don't understand what shes going through.
Everything seemed to be going well until her brothers started to grow large amounts of hair. “This is how my mother started, a single hair.” If one of her brothers were sick what would she do? Taking care of one sick person was too much as it was. She turned and her heart sank. She thought “Why me?” One of her one of her brothers it was starting to turn. Then the other one did her brothers started to turn into werewolves!
A Journey to A New World will stimulate the minds of readers all over the world. If you like to see teenage girls heartbroken over family issues, this is the perfect book for you. This book is more suited for teenage readers that can understand what the main character is going through.
