Mutiny on the Bounty is about the naval ship The Bounty and a crew of
brave British soldiers who are headed out to battle at sea. A
threatening storm of lightning and rain hits, and the crew doesn't
believe their inexperienced Captain Roger can navigate them safely
through the dangerous storm.
They thought that a crew member named Jack would be a more suitable
captain, and that he was more capable of traveling through the storm.
Captain Roger refused to give up his position as captain because he
thought it would make him look cowardly. William, a crew member that
had his doubts about Roger from the start, gathered a group of crew
members to throw the inexperienced captain overboard.
After Captain Roger was thrown over board, George, a loyal friend of
Captain Rogers, saves him from the deadly storm. When the captain was
safely on board again, he was outraged at William and the other crew
members that had betrayed him and threw all of them overboard. The
Captain and his remaining crew arrive back to England and were forced
to deal with the consequences of what had happened aboard the Bounty.
