Dark Whisperers is by far the best action fantasy book. Bruce Coville did a wonderful job writing this book. He wrote it in such away it makes the reader care about the characters. It was written in the year 2006 and it is a New York Times Best Seller. This book expanded how readers all over the world think about things they dream.
Dark Whisperers is a book about a eighteen year old dutch girl named Margaretta, who has a terrible problem: she whispers to unicorns in her dreams. One night, Margaretta gets trapped in a terrible dream. Unicorns are evil, black is white, white is black and she can never get back to the real world.
Margaretta, has to learn how to defend herself against the thing that is most dear to her: unicorns. There is only one thing she can rely on and that is a man that she meets, Alejandro. Alejandro is a 21 year old Mexican man. He is very talented with two daggers which he uses to defend his beloved Margaretta, but he gets kidnapped by Lord Unicorn who controls the unicorns. Margaretta has to save Alejandro before it is too late.
She runs into many unexpected surprises. Some are good, but some make her wish she could wake up and never think about this dream again. Margaretta has to defeat wolves, griffins and many other mystical creatures that belong to Lord Unicorn before she can go to the castle. She eventually makes it to the castle of Lord Unicorn. She gets there just in time with plenty of arms, but will it be enough to defeat Lord Unicorn?
Bruce Coville does a magnificent job of making readers feel for the characters. Dark Whisperers definitely deserved the New York Time Best Seller. It also won best dialog award. People all around the world say Bruce Coville is a magnificent writer and they can not wait until the sequel come out.
