The Key to Rondo is a suspenseful story by the award winning author, Emily Rodda. This Interesting fiction book has been popular in England and Europe since 1845. The Key to Rondo is a suspenseful and loving tale that gives you a look into what a family will do for the love of their pet.
The Key to Rondo is about an evil witch named Diana who wants to take over the kingdom from a widowed, loving king named Charles and his six year old daughter, Princess Grace. Diana the evil witch starts brewing up a plan to take over the kingdom before the famous royal ball. Her scheme is to steal the young princess and king’s favorite possession, their little yorkie named Rondo, so she she can convince the king to make an exchange the dog for the key to the kingdom.
When Diana steals Ronaldo the king becomes furious and young Princess Grace is heartbroken. King Charles knows right away that the missing Rondo is the witch’s doing. The witch then makes a deal with the king that he can't refuse. She tells the king that if he gives her the key to the kingdom that she will give him Rondo back and if he does not she will keep Rondo and steal Princess Grace too.
King Charles goes to the witch’s castle of thorns with the key to the kingdom in his pocket. When he walks towards the evil witch, thorny vines wrap around his legs and try to pull his arms. When the king looks up at the witch, he sees her holding Rondo on a cold metal chain threatening the king to come over with her evil dark eyes.
Emily Rodda’s plot will always leave the reader wondering and indulged in the heart felt drama and literature. The writing is somewhat old and formal, but it makes up for that with an amazing story.This book is highly recommended by millions of people.
