Sabriel is a book about mythical giants and wizards of evil. The book was written by Garth Nix. Sabriel is a book from the 1990’s but was first well known in 2003, in the U.S.
Sabriel is a book about a boy named Sabriel who is on a journey to reclaim the land of his family from a giant named Garl. Sabriel was the youngest of his brothers. His brothers were killed by Garl.
Sabriel was the youngest of his brothers who were killed by Garl. Sabriel has met a fisherman and is living with him in his small cabin by the ocean. Fourteen years later, Sabriel decides that he is going to reclaim the land of his family from Garl. Sabriel steals a ship that the fisherman said he could have and sails to find the mythical island Darkai.
When Sabriel finds the island of Darkai, he is faced by many challenges. On his journey to find the sword he meets a wizard called Voklar who tells him that he must travel to Death Mountain to find the godlike sword called Azeara. He then climbs the mountain and retrieves the sword.
Once he has ripped the sword from the mountain he sails back to the fisherman where he demands that the fisherman gives him some gold to spend on armor for the great battle ahead. The fisherman refuses to give him the money because the Garl stole it. Sabriel then trudges away to his childhood home.
Sabriel is a book that really pulls the reader into it and makes the reader feel what Sabriel is feeling. This book really reminds the reader of their life and how it relates to the book. The reader is pulled in and cannot wait to find out what happens next. This book really touches the reader when Sabriel is feeling sad, happy, or mournful.
