In the world of Life Is Never As Simple As ... Black & White there are people who wear black pieces of rope on their head and people who wear white pieces of rope on their head. The people who wear the black ropes on top of their head call themselves the Funky Furniture and the people who wear white rope on top of their heads call them self the Furious Farmers. The Funky Furniture and the Furious Farmers are at war.
The leader of the Funky Furniture is a giant couch named Funkydoodledood. The leader of the Furious Farmers is Tom Sawyer. Inside the secret base of the Funky Furniture they are planning a secret attack on the Furious Farmers soccer league championship game. Tom Sawyer kicks the ball into the goal and misses keeping the score at 4000 them and 4001 the other team, who also are Furious Farmers they call themselves the Furious Farmers 2. Tom is nervous that he won’t be able to score since there is only 200 years left on the clock.
Funkydoodledood leads his army into the soccer game. They have marshmallow shooters and pillow shields and are ready to attack. With 12 minutes left on the clock Tom makes his final attempt at making a goal. The Funky Furniture arrives just as he makes the final kick...
Life Is Never As Simple As ... Black & White is a book full of war and soccer and will definitely appeal to the younger audience. Life Is Never As Simple As ... Black & White makes you think.
