September 15-Dot Day! Have your child wear dots!

September 16- Rock Out 6:00-8:00

On Monday, your child will be bringing home their book bag. Inside you will find green letter cards (if your child hasn't mastered their letters and sounds), blue sight words, yellow trick words, and a GCISD Reads paper. Please make sure your child keeps each of these items inside their book bag and brings the book bag to school each day. Once we finish beginning of the year assessments and your child has mastered all their letters and sounds, your child will be coming home with books inside their book bag as well.

If you find your child must go home a different way than planned, please notify the office by a phone call by at least 2:00 p.m. Teachers and our front office staff do not always have access to email or are busy teaching or helping others. A phone call is required. Sometimes we have only one person in the front office, so we want to provide ample time to be able to meet your needs.
