If you will be attending, you must complete this Fastpass Visitor Form. If you do not complete the form, you will be required to come into the building with your driver's license to sign in to the Raptor system.

Ask your child....

Your child can bring his/her decorated valentine box to school beginning on Monday, February 7-11. Please make sure your child’s name is clearly visible on the front/top of the box. Our Tigers will be delivering their Valentines on February 11 prior to the class party. If your child is delivering valentines, please have him/her make a valentine for everyone in their homeroom. We do not want any hurt feelings on a "friend" holiday. A list of names was sent home in your child's Great Tiger folder on Thursday or Friday, January 27 & 28.

Thank you! :)

Next week, we will:

  • continue to practice annotating text for comprehension using L.A.T.C.H. I am so proud of the progress we are making. My students are Awesome!!!!

  • BOOK CLUBS: This will be our first week of Book Clubs. Each student will be issued a chapter book to read. I will give them a deadline to read a certain number of chapters in a 2 week time frame. Then, they will work with their Book Club to answer response questions and hold discussions about what they have read so far.

**Parents, it would be awesome if you could just remind them to read from their Book Club book a little each night. They will have a slip of paper in their reading homework folder (velcro pocket) that tells them which chapters to read and the deadline.
