Valentines
This week we will have Valentine fun! Our songs, stories, and activities will have a valentine theme.
Circle Time
Pink and Red color songs: We will sing and spell the colors pink and red, and find things that are pink and red.
Haley Heart: We will sing about hearts
Valentine Shape song
Letter A song: finding Aa in text, making As, and learning the A sounds
Valentine Actions Roll and Do game

Upcoming Events and Reminders
Our Valentine class parties will be held on Friday, February 11th. If your child attends the AM class, please send seven valentine cards. PM students will need to bring five valentines. A small treat is fine to include, just no peanut products. You can address the valentine cards "To my friend, From (your child's name)." AM and PM half day students will make a valentine bag at school to collect their cards and treats. Full day students will get a pink paper in their backpacks with instructions for the PreK valentine party. If your child attends full day, the pink paper has instructions for making valentines and a valentine box at home.
The Dad's Club Snow Hill and Breakfast is rescheduled for Feb. 12.
There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 14th for a Professional Development day.
