Apples 2
This week we will continue our apple fun! Songs, stories, and activities will have an apple theme.
Circle Time
Color Songs Red, Yellow, Green: We will sort apples by color and sing songs about the color of apples.
Shape Song Olive Oval: We will make ovals with manipulatives and talk about how they differ from circles. We will draw ovals on the big screen.

Upcoming Events and Reminders
Monday, Oct. 11: NO SCHOOL, Indigenous People's Day, Columbus Day
Tuesday, Oct. 12: Fall Picture Day. No order form or money is due; a picture of each child will be taken and proofs sent home in about two weeks with the option to purchase online.
Wednesday, Oct. 13: Early Dismissal Day. Full day ECSE students will attend 7:45-11:45. AM ECSE students will attend 7:40-9:40. PM ECSE students will attend 9:45-11:45. Bus routes will be adjusted and you should hear from transportation on pick up/drop off times if your child rides the bus.
Friday, Oct. 15: Lunch on the Lawn! (for full day students) ECSE/PreK lunch is 10:30-11:00 and we will be eating outside on the primary blacktop. There will be a registration form for you to submit before that day.
We are holding our first Lunch on Lawn and Spirit Day on Friday, October 15th! Parents are invited to come each lunch outside their children during their lunchtime. (If you have multiple children, you are welcome to eat lunch with each of them, but to make sure we are not disrupting learning time, please only eat during each student's lunchtime).
Grab your new spirit wear - the Spirit Shop will be open!
