You must call the office, 817-305-4870, by 2:00 p.m. to communicate any change in your child's dismissal.

Lunch on the Lawn is this Thursday, May 25. Bring a blanket and please join us for lunch on the big playground from 12:45-1:15. *Please email your child's teacher by Tuesday, May 23 if he/she WILL NEED a lunch from the cafeteria.

We have enjoyed working with your children so much. Each child has worked hard this year and has made such growth! While the weeks of summer may seem long we all know that the first day of third grade will be here in the blink of an eye. Please set aside 20-30 minutes each day to read, practice a few math facts (basic addition, subtraction, and even multiplication), and play a game or two. A half an hour a day can help your child avoid the "summer slide" which will help all of us say,

"Hello Third Grade!"

Finally, THANK YOU to each and every Second Grade parent! We appreciate the tremendous amount of support you have graced each of us with throughout this year. Your precious children, words of encouragement, and Friday treats helped make our year special. You set the bar high and we are so grateful to you!
