Math

This week in math, our fun Winter Project is coming to a close. Students have been designing, creating, and organizing an Ice Skating Rink with a team. They have created digital advertisements, recorded a commercial, and will present these to the class this week for a grade. Students will be graded on their presentation and their calculations. There will be NO homework in Canvas this week!

Science & Social Studies

We have wrapped up Science for this term and taken our district unit test. We are spending the remainder of our time together finishing up Social Studies.

When we return in January, we are studying weather & climate.

This week in SOCIAL STUDIES, we are wrapping up our study of the American Revolution and setting the stage for exploring the new nation when we return from break!

Reading/ Writing

This week we will be finishing our poetry unit. writing poetry, and playing poetry games. We will be finishing up our poetry writings and our special end of unit activity..

Students will NOT have Poetry this week!!

We will have our Polar Express movie on Thursday and our class party on Friday. Early dismissal Friday at 11:45.
