Aug. 30-Sept. 3: Five Senses

Songs, stories, and activities will have a Five Senses theme. Our senses help us learn about our world!

Circle Time

Tap Big Lines: We follow directions to imitate motor movements, and we create shapes, letters, and numbers with lines and curves.

Color Song Blue: We will sing about and spell the color Blue. We will identify objects or pictures that are blue.

Shape song Suzy Square: We will make squares with our Big Lines, and we will draw squares on our big screen.

Musical Instruments: We will make a choice of an instrument to play. We play together, and take turns playing for our friends. We talk about loud and quiet sounds.

Literature:

Hooray for Hoppy: What senses does Hoppy use in the story?

Sensational Senses: Describing our senses and how they help us.

My Backyard and My Senses: What senses do you use when you play outside?
