If equipped, reconnect the fog lights in the front bumper. Cut the rubber filler hose in half about 6” below the metal filler neck. Reinstall the modified filler assembly in the vehicle. The front bolts are accessed through a hole in the body. Slide the new "L" shaped support bracket under the front side of tire crank. Pull the cooler forward, free from the core support mount. Disconnect the ground strap from the driver’s side firewall Figure 6. Remove the two bolts mounting each of the factory bumper brackets to the bumper and remove the brackets from the bumper. Install the upper steering column shaft into the extension and fasten with the provided 3/8” x 1-3/4” bolt, nut and 3/8” SAE washers. Cable Extension Using the stock bolt, mount the provided safety strap extension to the rear frame mount. The front mounting bolt is the top bolt for the spring hanger. Torque the factory and ¼” nuts to 10 ft-lbs Figure 18. Disconnect the fuel filler from the fuel tank as well as any ground straps and remove the filler assembly from the vehicle. If equipped, the Supplemental Restraint System (airbags) will be deactivated when the battery is disconnected. Install the new 3” fan shroud relocation brackets (same as bracket used in the previous step) to the original shroud mounting holes using the stock bolts Figure 19.
