Work
Introduction
Many of us can do small things every day to help our jobs be more sustainable, like implementing recycling and composting programs, opting for environmentally friendly buildings and equipment, even printing on recycled paper. However, if you feel driven to start a new, specifically eco-friendly career, or need employees for an eco-friendly business that you want to expand, then we have gathered some job boards and search engines here.

Education
The Conversation (Jan, 2023) explains that "While the number of “green jobs” grew globally at a rate of 8% per year over the last five years, the number of people listing green skills in their profiles only grew by 6% per year, according to a LinkedIn analysis of its nearly 800 million users." and that "The number of companies with chief sustainability officers in executive positions also tripled from 9% to 28% between 2016 and 2021. But given the scale and business opportunities of sustainability, these skills are needed much more widely within organizations."
Right now is the best time to brush up on you learning, earn a certification, micro-credential, PHD, bachelors, either in person or online. Some of these programs are only a week or a few weeks long, but give valuable training which is in gravely short supply within the jobs market.
Whether you want a new job, to create your own job(s), or just to improve education is a priceless way to improve ourselves. Explore the following resources to see if any of the programs or schools suit your needs.
Educational Camps
Some of the educational opportunities we found are hosted on specific camp site, where students can sleep, cook, and learn for a few days or more.
Some of these include rewilding activities, while others might teach sustainable building techniques as you help build functional homes, schools, and more.
These may or may not offer official certification at the end, so read carefully before enrolling if that is an important issue for you.
