Arthur Trevor Haddon (1864 – 1941) started his artistic education in 1883 at the Slade School under Professor Alphonse Legros and later studied in Madrid from 1886 until 1887. He returned to England and worked with Sir Hubert Herkomer from 1888 until 1890. From 1896 until 1897, Haddon lived and worked in Rome. The artist exhibited at principal London galleries from 1883 including 'A Country Hack', 'The Cabbage Garden' and 'Berkshire Meadows'. Haddon also exhibited at the Royal Academy with views of Spain as seen in the oil "Afternoon in Cordoba." The artist was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists British Academy during 1896 and completed several one-man shows in London during the early 1900's. Exhibition locations included the Leicester Galleries in 1902, the Chenil Gallery in 1906 and Dore Gallery in 1908. In 1910, exhibitions for Haddon were held at Derby Gallery and Kodak Gallery. Publications by the artist include: "The Comet Coach" (1894), "The Snow Garden" (1900). "A Book of the Rhine" (1906), and "Old Venetian Palaces (1907). From 1926 until 1930, Trevor Haddon travelled extensively in Canada, the United States, Hawaii and the South Pacific. Living in both London and later in Cambridge, the artist Arthur Trevor Haddon died December 13, 1941 at age 77.

Trevor Haddon's paintings are much in demand at auction, often fetching US$2,500 or more.
