Mark Rowbotham Artist - Biography - Gallery of paintings

MARK ROWBOTHAM studied at Epsom Art College in the UK and graduated with a degree in Fine Art. One of his major influences has been the work of Degas, Mark is able to create atmosphere in his work through his mixed use of pastels and oils exuding rich colours and textures. His originals and Limited Edition prints are hugely in demand. Mark Rowbotham has been invited into the Royal Oil Institute and the Royal Watercolour Society. He also received the Patterson Award from the Royal Pastel Society in 1993. Mark Rowbotham regularly exhibits his work at the Mall Galleries in London and his work is highly regarded worldwide. Among his celebrity collectors are Bamber Gascoigne and Jeffrey Archer. Mark is married to the artist Sherree Valentine Daines. His painting style is also very reminiscent of hers.
