Mervyn Goode Artist: Biography - Artist website - Gallery of art

Mervyn Goode was born in 1948 and initially studied Landscape Architecture at the Gloucestershire College of Art. But he left the profession at the age of 21 to pursue his vocation as a landscape painter. His first one-man exhibition in London in 1970 was a huge success and he has continued to exhibit at selected major galleries in London, the provinces and the USA ever since, again with unqualified success. Mervyn Goode lives with his wife Stephanie and their Labrador dogs in a rambling country house in Hampshire, a county which he frequently features in his work.

Mervyn Goode's original paintings are avidly sought by collectors throughout the World. And prints of his work, too, are highly popular. Mervyn Goode's work has been reproduced by the Medici Society, Kingsmead Publications, the Bucentaur Gallery, Royle Publications, the Almanac Gallery and Rosenstiel's. He has been featured in numerous fine art books and periodicals as well as on television.
