Anthony Saunders is an aviation and marine artist with a superb grasp of the speed and power required when portraying aerial combat scenes.

He is particularly drawn to the artistic rather than historic side of his artwork and spends many hours researching each composition to ensure that it is historically accurate and technically correct.

His recent Dambusters paintings really bring to life the most famous RAF bombing raid of World War II and would make a fine addition to any collection of aviation art. His breathtaking skyscapes and rich colours used in his oil paintings also suit many other subjects which include historical scenes of the Crimea and Waterloo.

Anthony Saunders is a member of the prestigious Guild of Aviation Artists (GAvA) and is a regular exhibitor at the Guild’s Annual Summer Exhibition which this year will be held at the Mall Galleries in London (near Admiralty Arch) during the period July 22-28th 2019.
