The self-taught Spencer Coleman is one of the finest landscape painters of recent times. He was born in Leicester in 1952 and now resides in a small farming village in East England.

His oil paintings are highly sought after and he specialises in figurative and landscape art including realistic depictions of rivers and streams set in the English countryside. These images depict gentle, timeless subjects with beautiful scenery and mellow colours.

Spencer's famous painting of children posing on a farm gate "Bottom's Up!" is now one of the best-selling art prints of all time. He often exhibits his paintings at exhibitions, which often sell-out, and his work is frequently on TV programs.
