We are proud to offer this magnificent framed and signed Still Life oil painting on canvas by the Italian artist Renato Criscuolo. It depicts a vase of flowers propped up on two books and set on a small chest of drawers, probably in a lady's withdrawing room. This evocative painting is beautifully framed in a really solid near black wooden frame and signed by the artist at bottom left. Overall dimensions of the painting including the frame are approximately 90 cm. by 90 cm. The painting is in near gallery condition and ready to hang. It is also complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.

And because of its overall size and weight we would prefer to deliver personally to the buyer if in reasonable travelling distance of the Epsom area where we are based. BIOGRAPHY

RENATO CRISCUOLO is a postwar and contemporary Italian artist born in Naples in 1954 where he still lives and works. The artist's paintings encompass a wide range of subjects including Still Life, especially of flowers, landscapes including city views captured "en plein air" as well images of the human form, portraits and even murals. He works mainly in oils. A number of successful exhibitions of his work have been held in Italy since 1988. The artist's work is very popular at auction with his paintings fetching from around US$400 to US$4,139 according to the Findartinfo database.
