This item may be used as a reaction to being attacked. If the attack hits, the damage from that attack is nullified, and the attacker immediately ends their current action; this prevents the attacker from making any more attacks as part of that action, but does not prevent spells from dealing further damage.
This item has two charges, and recovers one at both dawn and dusk, or at 7 A.M. and 7 P.M. (DM's choice).
