Phantom

Phantoms are the spirits of animals or plants. They have no particular form, unlike ghosts, who take on the appearance they had in life. Phantoms appear as faint wisps.

They are cold to the touch, enough to cause frostbite. They can also influence the attitudes of the people around them; if a person is surrounded by happy phantoms, then they will start to feel happy, while unhappy ones will cause a person to feel unhappy.

They can come from the spirits of the deceased, or embody the emotions of the still-living, and many phantoms can come from a single source.
