Features:

Chant: Through a chant, Byakuren can channel her magical, physical and spiritual energy. Byakuren can use a bonus action to begin a chant. She can expend the chant to empower one of her attacks. The chant is expended when she makes the attack, but before the attack roll is made.

  • Unarmed Strike: Deals an additional 1d8+2 damage. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or become stunned until the end of its next turn.
  • Varja Strike: Double the amount of dice rolled for damage and the damage modifier.
  • Magic Blast: The range is extended to 60 ft. If the attack hits, Byakuren may teleport to a space within 5 ft. of the creature.

Combo: Byakuren is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter, even without her magic to support her. Byakuren may make an unarmed strike as a bonus action on her turn.

Support Magic: In an effort to prolong her life, Byakuren uncovered many secrets of how to enhance her body beyond that of a mere Human. Byakuren has a number of enchantment spells that she can apply to herself or others as an action.

  • Enhance Power: 3rd level transmutation.
    • Byakuren's melee weapon attacks gain an additional +4 to hit and deal an additional 2d8+4 damage. She gains advantage on Strength ability checks and saving throws.
  • Enhance Speed: 3rd level transmutation.
    • Byakuren gains +25 movement speed. She also gains an additional action during her turn (She may still only cast one spell per turn). She may take the dash, dodge or disengage actions as a bonus action during her turn. She gains +4 to her AC.
  • Enhance Durability: 3rd level abjuration.
    • Byakuren gains resistance to all damage, and advantage on all saving throws. She gains immunity to the blinded, deafeaned, exhaustion, incapacitated, paralyzed, petrified, poisoned, stunned and unconscious conditions. If she is reduced to 0 hit points, she may choose to remain conscious, but still makes death saving throws as normal. She recovers 6 hit points at the beginning of each of her turns, including while she is at 0 hit points.

Additionally, Byakuren has advantage on concentration tests. A single attack only causes her to make one concentration save, and she chooses which one of her enhancements is dispelled if she fails.

Actions:

Multiattack: Byakuren makes one unarmed strike and another melee weapon attack.

Unarmed Strike: Melee weapon attack. +6 to hit, 1d8+2 bludgeoning damage.

Varja Strike: Melee weapon attack. +6 to hit, 1d8+2 radiant damage.

Magic Blast: Ranged magic attack. 20 ft. range. +9 to hit, 3d6+5 force damage.

Power Up (1/day): With some exertion, Byakuren can prepare herself to fight even the strongest of Youkai. Byakuren applies all of her support magic spells to herself at once.
