chicken caesar salad

This is an easy 3 step chicken caesar salad recipe. It is a good dish to use up leftovers and works fine with fresh made chicken as well.

  • 1 to 2 cups chicken

  • half a head of chopped lettuce

  • 1/8 to 1/4 C grated parmesan cheese

  • caesar dressing

  • croutons

1. Chop the leftover chicken up. If you are making fresh chicken, cook the chicken and then chop it. You can use any type of chicken, but white meat is the traditional taste.

2. Rinse the lettuce and chop it. Put it in a bowl. Toss in the chopped chicken and the parmesan cheese and mix it all together. You can adjust the taste to your liking, but just keep in mind that too much parmesan cheese is an unpleasant taste.

3. Serve with croutons and and caesar dressing. Don't add the croutons to the salad in the bowl, they'll get soggy. Add them to each individual serving of chicken caesar salad as it is served.
