DEVICE CUSTOM FIELDS

Introduction

Standard device attributes like Model, Serial Number, and OS, provide a foundation for inventory management, but they may not cover every data point your organization requires. The Custom Fields feature allows you to extend the default data schema by defining your own attributes.

Once configured, these fields appear within the device details view, enabling you to record and track specialized information such as internal asset tags, or department-specific identifiers.

📌Pre-Requisite

You need to be an IT Admin to access to this feature.

📌Additional Notes:

• The custom field is an optional text-entry field.

• When a custom field is deleted, all existing data will be permanently removed. This action is irreversible
