RE-ASSIGNING MANAGED DEVICE

You need to be an IT/HR admin to trigger these actions.
Your organization needs to be on the Secure or Complete plan.
All these devices will be under "Unmanaged" devices & "Unassigned" status.
Please ensure that you have added the new employee

To re-assign the device you may choose "Actions" and choose "Assign to the new employee" or follow the guide below:ย

My organization will retrieve and deliver the device to the selected employee:
We will not take any action for this option.
I need help with retrieval and delivery of the device to the selected employee:
We will assist you by picking up the device from the old location and delivering it to the new user. A shipping fee will be applied.
๐To Change to Managed Deviceย
If youโre under the Complete Subscription, once submitted, the asset will automatically move to your Unmanaged Device List and be marked as "Active".ย
Click the "Pencil Button".
Scroll down and choose "Yes".
Once a submitted, the initial status will be โPending Agent Installation.โ
To change the status to โActive,โ please ensure the following steps are completed:
The employee has activated their JumpCloud account

The Serial Number has been updated on the platform and matches the one registered in JumpCloud.

Once the request has been completed, the status of the device on your dashboard will be marked as "Active." and assigned to the new user.ย
