To streamline the onboarding process and enhance device management, we are introducing the Device Agent Setup feature. This allows company admins to Pre-Install the JumpCloud agent on laptops before they are handed over to end users.
By setting up the agent in advance, admins can ensure that the device is fully configured and secured according to company policies from the moment the user powers it on. This helps reduce setup time for employees and ensures compliance with IT standards from day one.
You need to be an IT/HR Admin to trigger this action.
Your organization needs to be on the Secure or Complete Plan.
This action needs to be performed on the device where the JumpCloud agent will be installed.
