How to Install BitDefender Antivirus on a Windows Laptop

Bitdefender will be automatically installed to your laptop through your company's Jumpcloud Server. As for the manual installation please see and follow the steps provided below

How to install

1.  Download Bitdefender from the link: https://esresources.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/Esevel/bitdefender/epskit_x64_7.9.8.350.zip 

2. Go to your "Downloads" folder and right click on the file that you just downloaded from the link and select "Extract All".

3. A window that will appear that will let you select which directory you want to save the extracted file. Click "Extract" after selecting.

4. After extracting the files double click epskit_x64.exe file to install BitDefender.

5. Please wait while BitDefender finishes installing. 

6. If no errors were found during the installation it will successfully be installed in your device.

7.  To check if it is already running click "show hidden icons" in your taskbar. An icon of BitDefender will show if you are "at risk" or not.

8. Double click on the icon on step 7. The user inteface will apear and show if you are at risk.

9.  Click on the "issues" found on the upper most part of the interface and it will show the issues needed to be addressed. In this case it needs a full scan right after installation.

10.  Click "full scan"

11.  Wait for the scanning process to complete

12. After the full scan is completed it will show that you are already protected.
