How can I confirm that a Device Security action on a lost device has been executed?
For a device security action to successfully be executed, the lost device must be connected to the Internet. In the event it is not when you trigger an action, the action will be queued and triggered the next time the device comes online.
How do I check that a device action has been triggered?
You are able to observe this from the status change shown in the Inventory module.
Last Mile Service: Upon successful triggering of action, the status changes to 'Processing'.
Device Security: Upon successful triggering of action, the status changes to 'Pending'.
Device Transformation: Depending on action that is triggered, there are different statuses displayed.
Archive: Upon successful triggering of action, the status changes to 'Archived'.
Change Ownership: This action only involves the device moving from one employee to another, there are no status changes.
Depreciation Report: This action only involves generating a straight line report, there are no status changes.
