ABM (Apple Business Manager) is web-based portal provided by Apple that allows organizations to manage Apple devices, apps, and user accounts from a central location.
Note: Kindly confirm with your administrator if your device has been enrolled via Apple Business Manager (ABM).
End user would receive a brand-new device in a boxed state and they proceed to unbox the MacBook and Turn on the device and begin setting it up for the first time:
1) Choose the Country or Region.
2) Customize the Written and Spoken languages accordingly.
3) Then proceed to connect to the WiFi Network.
4) Customize the Accessibility features as per requirements.
5) The device will then contact the Apple servers, including the MDM server, to complete activation, at which point the Remote Management screen will appear.
6) User would be presented with the "Welcome Screen" as configured for the Zero Touch experience.
7. Remote Management service would begin enrolling the device into MDM once end user clicks on "Continue".
8. MDM Profiles would be downloaded and installed on the device.
9) Create your local account.Â
10) Once you have accessed the macOS home screen, please wait a few moments until the "JumpCloudServiceAccount" prompt appears. Once it does, proceed with the enrollment process by selecting the current account, then choose "Create Account" to continue. And all set!Â
