Your organization needs to be on the Secure or Complete Plan.
You need to be an IT/HR Admin to trigger these actions.
Secure & Complete Plan:
Each user can also be assigned 3 devices.
Assigning additional devices to the same user is allowed, but will incur an additional charge per device.
🔔 Important Note:
Devices assigned beyond the allowed limit without proper reassignment or approval may result in platform usage restrictions or unexpected charges. Please ensure device assignments align with your current subscription plan.
Add the managed device (laptop and macbook)
Add multiple assets in bulk (laptops and peripherals)
Add a single peripheral

Once a device is created, its initial status will be “Pending Agent Installation.”
To change the status to “Active,” please ensure the following steps are completed:
The employee has activated their JumpCloud account

Update the serial number on the platform to ensure it matches the one registered in JumpCloud.
Method 2: Add multiple assets in bulk (laptops and peripherals)
Here is an example of the CSV file: You can edit the file by converting it to Excel format, making your changes, and then downloading it again as a CSV file.
To add a Managed Device, choose "Yes" in the Enable Device Management column.

Method 3: Add a single peripheral
The serial number of the devices is non-editable, if you wish to change the serial number please reach our Customer Support Team.
If you assign a device to a user who already has an assigned device, a pro-rated additional fee will automatically appear as a notification prompt before proceeding.

Keep your devices in check by entering their EOL (End of Life) and Warranty Expiry dates directly on our platform. Once added, you'll receive automatic email reminders between 1 to 90 days before the lifecycle/warranty ends, helping you stay informed and proactive.

To update your device details:
Go to your Device Profile
Enter the EOL and Warranty Expiry dates
Click Save and you’re all set!
