You need to be an IT/HR Admin to trigger these actions.
Your organization needs to be on the Secure or Complete Plan.
Upon uploading devices and users into the platform, there are three key steps that need to be completed by the users:
These steps are essential to complete the onboarding process and ensure the device is properly managed under our MDM system.
๐กHow to Check if a User Has Completed the 3 Necessary Onboarding Steps?
Go to the Team section.
Use the filter to select the status Pending Activation.
If you still see this button, it means the user has not activated their account yet. If the button is no longer visible, it means the user has successfully activated their account.
Go to the Team section.
Use the filter to select the status Pending Activation.
It will display all users who have not yet activated their JumpCloud account. If you see a status of โActive,โ it means the user has already activated their account.

Go to the Inventory section and Managed devices.ย
Use the filter to select the status Agent Not Installed.
Note: Please make sure the Serial Number is also updated
It will display all users who have not yet activated their JumpCloud account. If you see a status of โActive/ Inactive,โ it means the user has already installed the Jumpcloud Agent on their devices.
