Even if your laptop settings are correct, the browser can block the camera.

• Look at the Address Bar (where you type the website URL).

• Click the Lock Icon (or settings icon) on the far left of the URL.

• Find your SSID Wi-Fi and right click Forget.

• Ensure the toggles for Camera and Microphone are set to Allow.

Select the Correct Hardware in Meet

• In the Meet window (before or during a call), click the Three Dots (⋮) at the bottom.

• Select Settings ⚙️

• Audio: Click the dropdown under Microphone

• Choose your Microphone.

• Video: Click the Video tab and ensure "Integrated Camera" or "FaceTime HD Camera" is selected.

Enable "Hardware Acceleration

• Open Chrome or Edge.

• Click the Three Dots (⋮) in the top right and select Settings.

• On the left sidebar, click System.

• Ensure the toggle for "Use graphics acceleration when available" is turned ON

• Click the Relaunch button that appears. According to Google Meet Help, this is mandatory for visual effects.
