Christianity offers us the cross at the end of the biblical story as a parallel to the Tree of Life at the beginning, restoring to Adam's descendants what his misbehavior deprived us of. But eating of the Tree of Knowledge did not condemn Adam and Eve to die. It conferred on them the knowledge that they would one day die, and it is that awareness, more than the experience of death itself, that is the unique burden of a human being. (How Good, p153)
The saying "can't see the forest from the trees" is evident ???? (Randy)
An example of God's patience is like comparing grass to the trees, the tree takes longer to grow, but in the long run, lasts longer and is stronger. ( ?)
