Paradoxically, eternal life is obtained by us being willing to die (separate) from our selves (egos). Even God has done so by dispersing into Himself into omnipresence, but our sinfullness prevents us from recognizing that. Jesus doing the will of the Father, also died, to give us eternal life.(Randy)
