Antonmys: DUALITY, MYSTERY, PARADOX
I am that I am (Ex 3:14), though it more literally translates as "I-shall-be that I-shall-be." It stems from the Hebrew conception of monotheism that God exists within each and everyone and by himself, the uncreated Creator who does not depend on anything or anyone; therefore I am who I am or I be that I be. Ehyeh is a first-person singular verb, and can be understood as God saying that God is "in the process of being", a reference that could say, based on theological interpretation, that God exists in all times. The Gita reveals how the Divine “I AM”-Self/Atma is not only the Cosmic Source and Witness, but the only Reality, the One Actor playing all souls/roles in creation. (http://www.enlightened-spirituality.org/Nondual_Awakening_Source_and_Applications.html)
I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the god of Isaach and the God of Jacob". So burning bush seems to be both God, and God's messenger. Surely you cannot be both?, we want to ask God's answer is: I am both. I am who I am. (www.joshuarey.com)
"I Am" means "I exist" is the universal consciousness, the impersonal God, manifests as individual consciousness in order to communicate or express through human beings. (Divine Rev, p76)
Descartes said: "I think, therefore I am." We cannot be certain of anything in the external world, but we can be certain of our own inner experience. (p300) (History of God)
And you, who do you say that I am? (Mark 8:29)

I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thrist. (John 6:35)
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6) does 'the' mean 'fastest/straightest'?
When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I Am he. (John 8:28)
Lift the stone, split the wood, there I am. (Gospel of Thomas)
Enlightenment in the words of Jesus: "Before Abraham was, I am." (???). This was perfect enlightenment - no object, no duality, just "I am." This "I" is the very ground of being, the heart of the universe, the true self which rises in the depths and overwhelms everything. It is the voice of the "big self" which drowns all consciousness of the "little self" because it is all that is. Jesus spoke was not the "I" of a man, but that of the eternal Word that was in the beginning and through whom all things were made. Jesus was so filled with God that he no longer had a human personality - within him was only the personality of the eternal Son. (Zen, p13-14)
I wonder if the lost years of Jesus may be true, realizing that Jesus constantly meditated (prayed) and had attained enlightenment like Buddhist? (Randy)
