Deepak's book "Jesus, A Story of Enlightenment" brings to life the Jesus who always was, is and will be - one who came to bring a new awareness and consciousness of God as "source," God as "love" and God as "potentiality." The Kingdom of God is a "way of life" to be experienced "now." Deepak presents Jesus as a teacher of enlightenment who wanted us to experience transformation and modeled the way to find that transformation, that higher consciousness that we yearn for.(http://www.intent.com/blog/2008/12/07/deepaks-jesus-guru-dispeller-darkness)
God is more than you can imagine. God is the energy you call imagination. God is creation. God is first thought. And God is last experience. And God is everything in between. (Conversations, p198)
God is infinite and finite. Evil is a limitation on the divine power in realizing good ideals. The deepest value of the human person's dignity consists in his property of resembling God - not in a common way, after the manner of all creatures, but in a proper way - in the image of God.. Knowledge involves relation, difference, likeness. Just as God is the sole creator of human reality, so He is its sole final end: the ultimate happiness of man is to be found in the vision and love of God. ('90 Collier Enc)
To evaluate one [good] thing as "better" then another [good] assumes the existence of an absolute good [God] with which the two relative goods can be comapred. (Socrates)

You will be like gods who know what is good and what is evil (Gen 3:5)

I wonder if: God is perfect and holy because of acceptance of imperfection and sin? And if Jesus, who was holy, sinned by suicide to show God accepts sin? (Randy, 2/6/09)
I do not want to be God as in the Fall, just to be like Him. We need to be thankful and grateful and praise God that He allows us the possibly to be like Him. Being like Him is sufficient. To know God is to become a god, to become a god is to know God. God is the source of goodness, whereas, we as gods are only in the image and likeness of goodness. God is goodness (perfection) taken to the infinite extreme resulting in everything (self-existance) because its inheritant love is creative. - see NOTHING. We exist and have our being only from Him who is self-existant. Alpha and omega ( ) is source and destination; the any and all.' (Randy)
A kid asked Fr Bill if he was God and he said "I wish I were." I wonder if we realize how much God suffers and therefore really would not want to be God. (Randy, 5/97)
