*DAY/*DAYS
The periodic judgments of God foretastes of the final, definitive judgment in which God will vindicate his goverance of the universe. The "Day of the Lord" then is preceded in history by many "days of the Lord." (ReadingNT2, p70)
If "a 1,000 years is like a day to the Lord" (??), then maybe when Jesus said he would be "raised on the 3rd day" he meant that in the 3rd day (millineum) he (his spirit of love) would be raised (exalted, honored, valued). Or in the 3rd age (day=age in greek??) which we may be about to enter (from pre-modern, now modern, to post-modern) or (sub-conscious, self-conscious, super-conscious) or (agrian, industrial, informational), etc. (Randy)
