*HALF
see APPRECIATE (half glass of water), LIE (for half truths)
Jesus was not half man and half God, but "fully man and fully divine". (Randy)
After differentiating a half glass of water we need to integrate it so that we appreciate and build on what we have rather than don't have. (Randy)
Our outlook on life should always be with gratitude rather than like the half glass of water. Even though people may only be half (partly) good, we should be thankful for the goodness there is, becuase we have come a long way from the animals that we have evolved from. Also, rather than looking at the bad half, of those things we don't have, aches and pains, anxiety and worries, etc., we should be glad for what we have as the 1-legged man envies a walker, much lest a jogger or runner.
