Covenant

*COVENANT (Hebrew) - also see TESTAMENT (Greek)

The old covenant was based primarily on the agreement between God and his people concerning the law. God promised to bless his people if they kept his commandments. He enacted a new covenant - one in which he would write his laws, not on stone tablets, but on the very hearts of people. It became a reality when God's Son, Jesus, came to earth. (Bible Versions, p11)

The creator does not rule, but merely creates, creates, creates. The Word of God was not a commandment, but a covenant. You shall know you have found God when the 10 commandments become the 10 commitments. They are your freedoms, not your restrictions. These are my commitments, not my commandments. God does not order what he has created - He merely tells how you will know that you are coming home. (Conversation, p95-97)
