*GUILTY
Our guilt should attach to the deed, not to ourselves. For example, the husband who betrays his marriage vows should feel guilty because it is an useful motivator to change. But it is useless and destructive when it paralyzes the person with a sense of unworthiness and unlovability. (You Don't Have to Be Perfect by Kushner, 5/97 Reader's Digest)
We should feel less guilty with the sins of passion (ie. anger, lust) than the sins of the head (ie. pride, chosing not to donate). Also we have a false sense of guilt if we don't let go of pass forgivingnesses (ie. if absolution was given) and things that are not our fault (ie. our children's action, accidents, suicide by others). (Fr. Champlin)
By not for being grateful for all of my blessing, in fact, not even able to see/hear/feel my grace nor the evil in the world because in my selfishness I ignore others and outside world. (Randy)
