*THOUGHT/*THINK
I think therefore I am.
As a man thinketh. (Sermon on the Mount, p47-64)
As you think, so you become.
Some Christians are fearful that if they exercise their critical
thinking capacity, they will lose or weaken their faith. On the contrary,
honest searching and openness to secular disciplines can lead us back to our
faith. The intellect alone cannot provide life with meaning, rather we must
integrate critical thinking into the otther elements of mature Christian
practice. (Transcend, p37)
The whole cosmos is a projected thought of the Creator. The earth floating in space is a dream of God's. He made all things out of His mind, even as man in his dream consciousness reproduces and vivifies a creation with its creatures. All molecules are held together by the will of God. (Yogi, p318)
For you are the creator of your reality and life can show up no ther way for you than that way in which you think it will. You think it into being. This is the first step in creation. God the father is thought. Your thought is the parent which gives birth to all things. Thought is pure energy. Every thought you have is creative. (Conversations, p52,54)
New thought is your only chance. It's your only real opportunity to evolve, to grow, to truly become Who You Really Are. It's important to change your mind about some things. This is what evolution is all about. (Conversations, p168)
All that we are is a result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him, as the wheel follows the foot of the ox that draws the wagon. (Wisdom, Buddhism, p104)
