The Dream Which Came True
After eight anxious years of living in dreams
At last I married the woman of my dreams
It was just like a dream, the dream of all dreams
Finally I realized the spirit of my dreams
Our dreams rarely come true, but this time it did
There she was beside me in front of the judge
Side by side just the two of us facing the judge
Secretly touching fingers and shivering
Like a couple of youth dreaming of future life
The two pensioners sat there facing the judge
Saheb Gharaniye Palace,
Tehran, Iran
Listening to the speech and every word of the judge
Some meaningful some remote and in foreign tongue
Beautiful and enigmatic is my life
Sitting down and looking at my future wife
