She Has Never Felt Love or Lust

The lady has never felt love and lust,

Has never felt in her heart, a sudden thrust,

Has never heard the songs of the birds on the trees,

Has never felt the cool of the evening breeze,

The music of the water flowing in streams,

The rustling of the autumn leaves.

I pray to god she may never know,

How hard she has trod on my soul.
