Fossil fuel has had its day

Choking our planet every day

It is wrong to mine coal nowadays

It belongs to the past dark days

Getting good men trapped under ground

Is irresponsible and unsound

Oil and gas are polluters too

Both create plenty of CO2

What is to be done for energy?

Is there indeed any synergy?

The answer does not blow in the wind

It is surely, the power of the wind

Also solar, wave, maybe nuclear

The best solution is not so clear

Even old nuclear is not trouble free
